Description
With three rise options, the Constellation Panty pattern is the perfect customizable sew for a beginner. Some more advanced sewing techniques, such as elastic application, are required, but an adventurous beginner could make their way through the steps with help from the sewing community or Youtube.
This pattern includes a 17-page sewing guide, offering a detailed guide to choosing your size, making common fit alterations, and sewing the panties. Both print-at-home A4/letter and copyshop A0 files are included in PDF format.
Materials
- 20% 4-way stretch fabric, such as ponte
- waist elastic — your choice: 1” elastic, wide foldover elastic, etc.
- ¼” picot or foldover elastic for leg
- coordinating thread
Size Chart

Tester Photos
- Tester in the pink panties wears a size 30 with no alterations and chose the hip hugger option
- Tester in the red panties (Lindsie!) wears a size 36 with no alterations and chose the high waisted option
- Tester in the black and white panties wears a size 50 with a -4″ crotch rise adjustment (instructions available in the sewing guide) and chose the high waisted option
License + Ownership
The Constellation Panty pattern is the intellectual property of Sew Busty, LLC. Purchase of the pattern includes a license for personal use, allowing you unlimited use of this pattern for individual, noncommercial purposes. Purchase of the pattern also includes a license for small business use, allowing you to use this pattern to create finished panties for commercial purposes up to 500 times. The included individual and small business licenses do not include the rights to print this pattern for others’ use, such as when teaching a sewing class. For businesses who would like to use the pattern for commercial purposes more than 500 times or for educational use should contact lindsie@sewbusty.com to discuss license options.
